The Bhangra Team of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana, which got First Position in Zonal, Inter Zonal and Inter Varsity Youth & Heritage Festivals organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjab Youth Services Dept. of Punjab Govt. at PAU, Ludhiana in 2024 has represented the AIU North Zone at Panjab University, Chandigarh. It’s worth mentioned here that our team placed at fourth place out of 22 Teams.

The Bhangra Team of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana, which got First Position in Zonal, Inter Zonal and Inter Varsity Youth & Heritage Festivals organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjab Youth Services Dept. of Punjab Govt. at PAU, Ludhiana in 2024 has represented the Punjab State in Bhangra Category in the National Youth Festival held from 10th to 12th January, 2025 at New Delhi. It’s worth mentioned here that our team placed among the top Five Teams out of 32 Teams in the Folk Dance Category at the National Level.

The ‘Bhangra Team’ of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana brought laurels to the College by Winning First Place in the Punjab State Inter-Varsity Youth Festival organised by the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Services, Punjab Government.

The ‘Jhoomer Team’ of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana brought laurels to the College by Winning Second Place in the Panjab University, Chandigarh Inter Zonal Youth Festival, which was held at the DAV College, Hoshiarpur. In addition, one of this team’s members, Varun Dogra, placed Third in Individual Performance.

In addition, one of this team’s members, Shivom, placed third in individual performance.

One member of this team, Varun Dogra, is noteworthy for having won “Individual First Prize” in Bhangra.

The Bhangra Team of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana, which got First Position in Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth and Heritage Festivals organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2021 will represent the Punjab State in Bhangra Category for second time consecutively in the National Youth Festival to be held from 12th to 16th January at Pondicherry. Dr. Nirmal Jaura, Director Youth Welfare Department, Panjab University, Chandigarh and S. Devinder Singh Lottey, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs Department, Ludhiana visited our college to bless and motivate our Bhangra Team
